Wk 3B - Defining my Target Market

 I will write this post as a social media consultant for Cosmic Bloom which was a coffee shop I mentioned previously on my other post. I think that they have defined their target market but it can always be backed up by social media which I didn't see much of, but I would first start off by promoting it everywhere and specifically mention important details such as "we offer beginner latte art courses". This I feel automatically attracts more people because there are many who want to learn but many aren't aware they can get course. Next I would also promote on TikTok, a lot of businesses have promoted themselves on there and then get a lot of new customers and some of those make videos as well. Giving a more inside depth into how they business is and what they offer and leaving their overall review. 

This coffee shop is also in the 'old town' in Vista. This is a huge opportunity because you can mention all over social media "if you are ever in vista you should try.." this is an example of how they can promote themselves. Not only can they attract coffee lovers and enthusiast but also those who prefer other drinks such as kombucha and matcha, all of which is what interest much more people. I think these are some of the ideas I would give them for their social media platforms. 

Their target audience was very easy to identify but I do think they can add more or simplify it for their audience because if I wasn't analyzing it, I would have a hard time finding it and would just think it's a coffee shop. But they do offer a lot and have a lot of opportunities that can help them reach a broader audience. Their website is very good and is easy to navigate their is a lot of information there.  But lastly and most importantly all social media platforms count because in every single one of them their will be one that reaches the most audiences. They are only available on instagram, facebook and x but I believe they are missing one that is most important because it will help them expand (which is TikTok) but in overall they have defined their target market.
